These are my cups that I used in the illustration of the expat wives, part 2.
By now, we skip the coffee and go directly to the bubbles (part 3) ;-)

Display designs in showroom

These are the display designs, printed on foamboard by 'de reclamemakers' , a local graphic and printing company, presenting the Terre Bleue summer 2011 children's collection, currently in stores! Yes, most of the designs (especially girl's printed tees) are from my hand.
So, run to the Terre Bleue stores and get these adorable items! Only available in Belgium...

Showroom displays for Lola, Lila,Lou theme

I also designed the displays for the showroom of the children's collection whithin this theme. For that, i collaborated with www.dereclamemakers.be , a firm from my hometown, that did a very good job at printing all these drawings on foamboard.
Oh, by the way, most of the clothing on this displays are also my designs (mostly the girl stuff)

Lola, Lila, Lou : A comic book for Terre Bleue (Belgium)

This is a small comic book I made while I was still a Fashion designer in Belgium,, for Terre Bleue . I did this in 2009. It was real fun doing and it was a little 'teaser' for the clients. The book held about 20 pages, with the printed garments included. I'll show you an example ;-)

The client asked me to do part 2 in the theme of these pictures of Louis Vuitton summer 2011
For part 1 i had blank card, for part 3 , the keywords were : yellow, fashion, airplane.

These 3 works are now exposed in the bussiness lounge of the Cotonou airport

Today's inspiration

I really really love the pictures of this photoshoot 'Belles du jour' that appeared in Glam It magazine in March. It inspires me a lot and I want to make an illustration about it.
Especially the chairs give me a lot of ideas. But first, i have some other works to finish, hoping to post my interpretation very soon!

Carry : Work in progress

This was the first sketch i came up with for the 'Carry in the souk' illustration, and while i was posting the image, an e-mail came in from my client with confirmation that is was exactly what she wanted! Yihaa, i can go ahead now finishing the illustration and i hope posting the finished work next week!

Carry Bradshaw at Abu Dhabi

I've been asked to do an illustration with the souk as a theme.

The client likes the scene from the movie sex and the city 2 where 

Carry buys shoes at the local market in Abu Dhabi. I've rewatched that scene

and these are some inspirational images i've found.
